Wiitapon Jawjit currently serves as Head of Banpu People, Banpu Group, overseeing all countries that Banpu has its footprints. He is a key person introducing AI into Banpu, from raising awareness to adoption of AI that creates values to Banpu businesses. Prior to the tenure with Banpu, he has worked with 2 important financial institutions with the scope of responsibilities span across Capital Market and Commercial Bank. Sittisak Thongpila is a people-centric HR leader with over 15 years of experience across multinational corporations, group holdings, and tech startups. He currently serves as Head of HRBP at UTEL and HRBP Director at Benchachinda Group, where he drives people strategies that align talent development, culture-building, and business growth.

A defining focus in his career has been fostering a culture of lifelong learning and organizational performance. Sittisak led the design and rollout of a corporate HR Academy that has upskilled more than 1,000 employees, increased internal mobility, and prepared future leaders. He believes that learning should not be separate from performance, but rather embedded in how organizations grow, adapt, and succeed.

He has also played a key role in modernizing HR systems by implementing platforms like Workday, BambooHR, Humatrix, and OmniHR, reducing manual processes and enabling data-driven HR decisions. His leadership contributed to multiple “Best Companies to Work For in Asia” recognitions for AirAsia, Benchachinda, and SkillLane—reflecting a long-standing commitment to employee engagement, inclusive culture, and sustainable growth.

Sittisak holds an MBA in Human Resources Management & Organization Development from Thammasat University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management (Aerospace Engineering) from Kasetsart University. Akarin Phureesitr

Akarin Phureesitr is the Chief People Officer at CENTRAL PATTANA. He is also overseeing the Digital HR team for CENTRAL GROUP. During his 19-years career at CENTRAL, Akarin has accumulated professional experience in business and in HR roles across several business units. Prior to his most recent move to HR, Akarin led the Merchandising and Marketing at Central FamilyMart, where he contributed to a significant sale & profit improvement. He introduced several new offerings for customers, such as a new store format with emphasis on fresh food and beverages, and several innovative convenience services.

On the HR management, Akarin led Human Resources Development functions for Central Retail Corporation from 2006 until 2010. It was during his tenure that several strategic HR initiatives such as Employee Engagement, Talent Development and Management Trainee programs were developed and launched. Outside of retail business, Akarin has served as the Head of Human Resources Group at TMB Bank in 2010 and has worked in multi-cultural setting including 3 years at Bain & Company in Singapore (2002 – 2005), and 5 years at Statoil in Norway and Singapore (1996 – 2000).

Saudi Khaneng is HR, Country Lead Thailand, Indonesia & The Maldives of IHG Hotels & Resorts. He performed all human resources functions across the country/region in collaboration with hotel Human Resources departments, general managers, regional general manager and country head of operations, and served as the initial point of contact for HR-related matters, providing employee relations support across the region. During this time, he led the Cross Exposure Taskforce as the HR Country Lead for Indonesia for seven months, implemented the HR Review across the SEAK region, and introduced the SEAK HR Analytics Tool to strengthen data-driven decision-making. He also established the HR Champion System to enhance operational efficiency and optimized the use of social media in line with the employer branding strategy.
